In the last decade Olurin Olusanu Taiwo has developed his career as a seasoned professional having started his career working in the telecoms sector with Zain in 2009, from where he proceeded to work with GTBank Plc. During this period, Olusanu worked in the retail division of the bank and later moved to the corporate Banking group of the bank, working in the bank’s Financial Institution (FI), Telecoms and Health spaces, where he structured transactions for both indigenous and foreign financial corporations in excess of $1billion.
Olusanu was the head of a team at GTBank, whose mandate was to explore opportunities inherent in the power sector in Nigeria, a role which helped develop his passion towards being a part of the solution of the power infrastructure issues in Nigeria, aggressively driving value chain appreciation for stakeholders in the power sector. This passion led him to leave GTBank Plc. and join a team of like-minded individuals at Starkford Solutions Limited.
Olusanu holds a Bachelor of Science (Bsc.) degree in Accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University Ogun State, where he graduated with honours. He is also a member of the international Association of retail bankers and holds an MBA from the Herriot Watt University Edinburgh, UK .
Olawale Adebayo is a versatile Finance and Investment professional with extensive corporate and structured finance experience across West Africa, working with the Institutional Banking Division of Guaranty Trust Bank in Nigeria and Finance Development Team at Pagatech.
Olawale’s corporate transaction experience covers capital raising that resulted in funding of over $650mn across various sectors including Financial Services , Energy and Telecommunication. He was a core member of a team that advised Globacom Limited on fund raising for expansion across Nigeria, this was pivotal for Globacom, as it enabled them rollout their 5G network in Nigeria. Before joining GTBank Olawale worked at Paga tech. He was particularly involved in the finance teams review of in-house products and implementation for retail banking.
Prior to Pagatech, Olawale was a Finance Analyst at Dangote industries, where he was involved in several corporate and project finance transactions. Olawale has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Babcock University, Nigeria and he is also an Associate Chartered Accountant .
Adaobi Ekweanya was the Deputy Managing Director for Anchoria Asset Management Limited. She has over 14 years investment banking and capital market experience working in a few of the top firms in the financial services sector in Nigeria, like Futureview Financial Services, Vetiva Capital Management Limited, FSDH Asset Management Limited and Ascendo Consulting Limited in London. Her experience spans across various divisions including Asset Management, Corporate Finance and Business Development. Adaobi is currently the Vice President Fund/Portfolio Management at Coremars Asset Management Limited. Adaobi is a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) of the London School of Business and Finance, London, UK and holds a BSc. in accounting from the prestigious University of Nigeria Nsukka.
Akinwunmi currently oversees transaction origination structuring, arranging, risk assessment and execution covering the spectrum of financing needs of corporate businesses and SMEs. He has over seven years multi-faceted risk management experience, audit and enterprise assessment process. He played a pivotal role in creating and executing several notable policies and greenfield strategies for internal audit purposes in GuarantyTrust Bank.
Prior to joining the Bank, Akinwunmi worked at Baker Tilly Audit firm and UAC foods where he was involved in several audit processes. He is a Graduate of Babcock University with a Major in Accounting.
Chibuzor Oduche is a savvy Asset Manager. He is currently the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at Coremars Asset Management Limited. Prior to joining Coremars, he was the head of investments at DLM Asset Management Company Limited, where he grew Asset Under Management (AUM) from N700mn to over N7bn. He also led and was a critical member representing DLM Securities Limited, tasked with the setting-up and structuring of the FMDQ-Q Deal trading platform.
Chibuzor Oduche holds a Bachelors Degree BA(Hons) Business Administration and Finance from the Manchester Metropolitan University, Manchester, England and a Masters Degree MSC in Finance and Management from the University of Central Lancashire(UCLAN) Preston, England.
Ololade Oladele started her career as an active legal practitioner with Alaba Odunlami Partners, where she garnered vast knowledge in litigation, commercial legal practices, and company secretarial administration. She subsequently joined Fortress Capital Limited as the Compliance/Legal Officer, thus possessing experience in the Capital Market regulatory space. Oladele currently heads the Compliance/Legal Department at Coremars Capital Limited She obtained her Bachelor of Law (LL.B) degree from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, and her Master Degree (LLM) at the University of Lagos. She worked with the Corporate Affairs Commission during her National Youth Service, thus possessing requisite knowledge in company registration and corporate allied matters.
Adetutu Awojobi is the Head, Institutional Sales as Coremars Asset Management. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance from the esteemed Covenant University, along with a Master’s degree in Risk Management from the University of Lagos.
She has over 10 years professional experience in the financial service industry that cuts across banking, wealth management, asset management, financial planning, sales & relationship management, credit analysis, market research and product development.
Before joining the Group, she worked Guaranty Trust Bank, where she spearheaded diverse retail banking teams overseeing deposits, investments, and risk assets portfolios totaling over 5 billion naira. Prior to that, she was a Relationship Manager at United Bank for Africa delivering exceptional balance sheet growth.
She is a Registered Capital Market Operator (Sponsored Individual, Fund/Portfolio Manager) with Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) Nigeria.
Her role encompassed the acquisition, management, and oversight of key accounts for individuals, medium to large businesses, and high-net-worth individuals. Adetutu attended various professional and executive courses.
